If you’ve left your organization and wish to withdraw the pension portion of your Provident Fund (PF), you’ll need to submit a claim using Form-10C.
This form allows you to withdraw the pension benefit under the Employees’ Pension Scheme (EPS), and the entire process can be completed online through the EPFO portal.

Here’s a simple, step-by-step guide to help you file your Form-10C claim smoothly.

Step 1: Login with Your UAN & Password

Visit the official EPFO Member Portal and log in using your Universal Account Number (UAN) and password.

Step 2: Open the Online Services Tab

Once you’re logged in, click on Online Services from the main menu.
This is where you’ll find all claim and withdrawal options.

Step 3: Select “Claim (Form- 10C )”

Under Online Services, select Claim (Form-31, 19, 10C & 10D).
This section includes multiple claim types — PF final settlement, advance withdrawal, and pension withdrawal (Form-10C).

Step 4: Enter and Verify Bank Details

Enter the bank account number linked to your PF account and click Verify.
This ensures your pension amount is credited to the correct account.

Step 5: Click “Proceed for Online Claim”

Once bank details are verified, click Proceed for Online Claim to start the process.
This opens the claim form where you can select your preferred claim type.

Step 6: Choose the Type of Claim

From the list of options, select Only Pension Withdrawal (Form-10C).
This ensures you’re specifically withdrawing your pension benefits.

Step 7: Select the Pension Withdrawal Option (Form-10C)

Choose “Only Pension Withdrawal (Form-10C)”.
This option ensures that you are applying specifically for pension withdrawal benefits under the Employees’ Pension Scheme (EPS).
Selecting this correctly helps avoid any processing errors or delays.

Step 8: Enter Your Aadhaar Address

Enter your address exactly as it appears on your Aadhaar Card.
This step is crucial since EPFO verifies your identity based on Aadhaar details.

Step 9: Get Aadhaar OTP and Submit Your Claim

Click Get Aadhaar OTP. You’ll receive an OTP on your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
Enter the OTP and click Submit to complete your claim submission.

Congratulations! 🎉 You’ve successfully submitted your Form-10C for pension withdrawal. You’ll receive an online confirmation.
EPFO will process your request and credit the pension amount to your verified bank account after successful verification.
